Recent Events
On Wednesday 4 March 2026 I did my first primary school visit as an author! I visited the lovely pupils and staff of Denny Primary and received such a lovely welcome. Jacqueline our daughter came with me and we spent the morning reading Poncho Goes to Work to some classes and then read Poncho Saves the Day to the whole school assembly.
It was amazing to release introduce Poncho to the children in this way and I loved every second of it. It’s always daunting putting something you have cherished out there like that, but I needn’t have worried. The children were so kind, and the staff so complimentary and accommodating. I am already looking forward to booking in some other visits and will absolutely make a return visit o Denny if they will have me.
In other news, Paul and I have started work on Poncho Goes to the Match and Poncho Goes up North. I am hoping to have them both ready for the world by late spring, but time will tell. Life has a habit of getting in the way of things like this, but we will try.
